Chris,

Thank you for these insightful quotes. They are very thought-provoking. I always learn a lot from your posts!

I was looking up a quote on inflation, and couldn't find one. It is apparently not an oft-commented classic subject, at least in my books. I did, however, find this quote under the subject of "Taxes" I thought you'd enjoy. I know the mental picture it gave me made me laugh!

"The art of taxation consists in so plucking the goose as to obtain the largest possible amount of feathers with the smallest possible amount of hissing." ~ attributed to Jean Baptiste Colbert, Minister of Finance under Louis XIV

ABC News just turned programming over to the White House. The WH will now anchor news internally...

...what do you think will happen to those reporting "conflicting" news stories..?

WHY IS THIS NOT A GREAT PUBLIC CONCERN!!!!!

I cannot believe the appathetic ignorance of the people...but wait, that was me before TEAM. I was becoming well groomed in the idea of big brother taking care of me. I was 'acluistic' to the true demeanor of the beast. Thanks be to God for His Spirit of Truth.

May we all gain a more stern voice to continue to speak against the foolish gander of the misinformed and all to eager believers of a utopic socialistic regime.

"Let not the fight be taken lightly nor the strength of determination by our enemy. For there is but one cause we battle, one evil we fight. Let not the day leave without your vigorous attack on mediocrity: to better your surroundings, to better yourself and to salve off the malicous poison of this world war against the Light of Truth." -

Chris,

I think the majority of most people think that inflation will not affect them because they are used to getting "inflationary" raises at their jobs.

People didn't really begin to notice inflation in the Phoenix, AZ area until the last few years when housing prices skyrocketed, but their income did not.

At least now, people can afford the lower housing prices if they can keep their jobs.

Thanks,
John

Great stuff man!!!

g.a.b. Big Brother has had control of the media for years! At least now they are being a little more up front about it, lol!

Chris,

People thought they knew me until I opened my mouth and spoke.

I thought I knew people until I heard them say they would gladly pay a couple more pennies in taxes.

Then I read again the doubling penny story and thought to myself that the government is getting more than 10 million on the 30th day, they get it every day but it never doubles because they spend it.

Like the reader above you have opened my eyes which has caused me to think some and read further.

Keep sending the good stuff.
