Come on, everyone! It's time to push our government for
Universal Veterinary Care! After all, we have a RIGHT to have a healthy pet!
(And if you don't agree, you are a big, mean, prejudiced, unfeeling, uncaring, right-wing, radical, Nazi pig).
So contact a bleeding heart near you and start fighting for your rights.

Hey Chris here is a video for you to look at.
Thanks for all of your information.

I was thinking more along the lines of universal car care. Why should I have to maintain my own car when you greedy rich pigs can afford to fix my car?

Howdy Chris. What is more important? Our pet's health or our health. I've heard that in Canada it is easier and quicker to get surgery for your pet than for yourself.

Chris,
Hey, where do we go to sign up?? With 3 cats (and a newly acquired 4th), and some newly acquired fish, we could sure use something like this! (I'm kidding!!)
We've just been doing what our parents and grandparents did, and shouldering the responsibilities of our choice of pet ownership for ourselves . . .
How come it isn't being taught any more (outside of bastions of good sense and traditional values like the Team) to take responsibility for anything??? Whether it be your things, your pets, your actions or whatever, our society is a study in mass refusal to accept responsibility. While growing up, we were taught the sign and symbol of an adult was the acceptance of responsibility, and you were still a child if you did not. Are we now largely a nation of children???

Hmm, US Postal Service, Social Security, Fannie Mae, "War on Poverty", Medicare & Medicaid, Freddie Mac, TARP, and Cash for clunkers: all excellent evidence government run systems don't work and now the government wants to run our health care system. (sigh!!) Please Chris, leave the puppies and kittens out of this one. We do have laws on the books against cruelty to animals!

Wait, let me get this straight - if I don't support pet care for my pet pig, then I'm a Nazi pig? Please don't insult the pigs like that!
Anyway, up in Canada, I feel grateful that I live in an area where average ER wait time is about 6 hours (for the bed, then it's an additional 3 or 4 to see the doctor), since I have recently learned that the national average wait time is 23 hours. Imagine having to take the whole next day off of work because you had to go to the ER the night before!

Hi Chris,
I was watching the news one day and it told how in Canada a human had to wait 6 months for an MRI. A dog or cat could get one in two days.
A Canadian doctor they interviewed said many Canadians routinely come to the USA when they need immediate medical care to save their life.

Thought you'd get a kick out of this:
Got this from a friend:
“We were in Pigeon Forge over the week end. We left to come home on Sunday. Traffic was moving slowly, and a car in front of us had an Obama bumper sticker that read: "Pray for Obama. Psalm 109:8".
“Mike's Bible was lying on the dash board. He got it and opened it up to the scripture and read it. He started laughing and laughing. Then he read it to me. I couldn't believe what it said. I had a good laugh, too.”
Psalm 109:8
"Let his days be few; and let another take his office."
We love you Chris!

Chris,
This is awesome! I was wondering who was going to pay the vet bills for my pet cockroaches...
Thanks! :-)
